Problem
Background Research
Greenhouses require an astounding amount of work for a group of people, let alone a single person. Given the precise nature of greenhouses, many variables need to be kept within a specific threshold for the plants to thrive. The task at hand is to create a precise greenhouse control system using Rockwell Automation’s Micro800 PLC family.

Solution
Water System: To control the irrigation within the greenhouse, ensuring that all plants are thoroughly watered at the optimal times.
Temperature System: To keep the greenhouse at an acceptable temperature range and heating/cooling it when it falls outside the range.
Light System: To add an additional source of light, especially during seasons and times of the day when the natural source of light is lower.
