The design group was extremely excited about the concept of control system automation being incorporated in an everyday product such as a greenhouse. The balance between hardware and software was ideal for our skillset and we felt confident in our ability to deliver an impressive product with the technology being provided. Most importantly, it gave us an excellent opportunity to explore the possibilities of microcontroller automation with instruments that are well developed.
